If you’re feeling flat or have issues in your life that you don’t know how to resolve, then come… here. Suzy’s studio provides the original hot yoga – the special Bikram sequence – and her instructors stick to it (there are not many studios in Melbourne left that offer pure Bikram).
I wish I knew more about the science behind the sequence, but the combo does so much for your body, soul, mind. It fixes all aspects of you and gives you the energy and understanding to really love and appreciate your life or the power and confidence to change it if it needs changing. But you have to practice regularly (at least 3 times a week). It’s a big commitment and the work out is really challenging, but there is no other exercise to me that delivers these results.
The physical changes to your body are amazing, but it’s the difference it makes to your mind which is incredible. Sometimes I feel like a flat lifeless piece of cardboard when I enter the class, but I always emerge feeling like a magical unicorn. It’s hard to describe. I associate it as a place to get happy feelings!
If you’re a runner, it’s like getting the runners’ high x 1000, and it lasts for at least 2 days haha. The best thing about Suzy’s Studio is that it offers 5 sessions of bikram a day (most weekdays) so it gives you the greatest chance of making as many classes a week.
I’m so grateful to this studio. It’s really changed my life this year. I’ll have to keep coming until I feel brave enough to make those big changes I need in my life and until I feel more stronger and invincible. Thank you Suzy! Keep up the good work.
